Terms of Sale and Use

These terms cover anything you buy or download from The Foreman Files ("we," "us"), including The Foreman Files Start Kit, the Foreman Assistant and the Bid, Change-Order & Collections Pack (the "Products"), and the website foremanfiles.com. By buying or using a Product, you agree to these terms.
1. What you're buying
The Products are digital: PDF guides, plain-text prompt files, fill-in templates (PDF, Word and Excel) and setup instructions. Nothing is shipped. The Foreman Assistant is a set of instructions and files that you set up in your own ChatGPT account. We don't host it, run it or have access to it.
2. Price and payment
Prices are shown on the checkout page in US dollars. They're one-time payments, not subscriptions. Payments are processed by Stripe through our checkout platform. We don't see or store your full card number. [TBD: sales tax. Check with an accountant whether Texas or other states require tax on these products, and say here whether tax is added at checkout.]
3. Delivery
Right after payment you get download links on the thank-you page and by email. The links don't expire. If you can't find or open a file, email support@foremanfiles.com and we'll send it again.
4. Refunds
You have a 60-day, no-questions-asked money-back guarantee. Email support@foremanfiles.com within 60 days of your purchase and say "refund." The full details are in our Refund Policy.
5. Your license (what you can and can't do)
When you buy a Product, we give you a personal, non-exclusive, non-transferable license to use it in your own business. - You can: use the guides, prompts and templates for yourself and your own company; print them; edit the templates and prompts for your own use; let your own employees use them inside your company. - You can't: resell, share, give away, publish or upload the Products (or edited versions of them) for other people or companies; put them in a course, product, membership or template library; or claim them as your own work.
The Products, including the text, prompts, templates and designs, are owned by The Foreman Files and protected by copyright. The messages and documents you create with them belong to you.
6. AI tools are third-party services
The Products are meant to be used with AI apps like ChatGPT (OpenAI) or Claude (Anthropic). Those are separate services with their own terms, prices, limits and privacy policies. They can change or stop features at any time (for example, the plans or features available in ChatGPT). We're not affiliated with or endorsed by OpenAI or Anthropic, and we're not responsible for their services.
7. You review everything (no professional advice)
AI can make mistakes. You're responsible for reading and checking every message, bid, change order, invoice or document before you use or send it. The Products don't give legal, engineering, code, safety, financial, tax or pricing advice. You set your own prices and terms. Please read our Disclaimer.
8. No guarantee of results
We don't promise any particular result, such as more jobs, more revenue, faster payment or fewer disputes. Your results depend on you, your business and your market.
9. Limitation of liability
To the fullest extent the law allows: - The Products are provided "as is," without warranties of any kind, express or implied, including fitness for a particular purpose. - We're not liable for indirect, incidental, special or consequential damages, or for lost profits, lost jobs, lost payments or lost data, that come from using or relying on the Products or any AI output. - Our total liability for any claim about a Product is limited to the amount you paid for it.
Some places don't allow some of these limits, so they may not all apply to you.

11. Changes
We may update these terms. The version posted on the date of your purchase applies to that purchase.
12. Governing law
